Easy to put together and works great
This rod rack is great for home or travel. Very easy to assemble. Extremely lightweight, yet sturdy. A great space saver also. We really like the rod securing mechanism. Threw two other wooden racks away after receiving this one.
This was better than expected. The fit and finish is very good, it went together easily and the included instructions were helpful to reference but not neccesary. Everything lined up, it sits flat on the floor and it securely hold the rods in place. The flexible plastic cams that grab and keep the rods in place are quite ingenious. They adjust to different rod diameters. Note that the Amazon description says this is intended for freshwater rods, as some of the deep sea stuff may be too big in diameter. The capacity is 18 rods WITHOUT reels. As you can see in the pictures, I fit ten rods with reels attached. This rod holder is as good as described. If you need a safe and secure fishing rod storage solution, this is a good one.
Some assembly required, but totally easy and totally worth it.
This 18 fishing pole holder is perfect for everyone who likes to have a pole for every fishing occasion. Or, if you have growing numbers of fishermen in your household, this will suit your needs.
Straight out of the box I was impressed with this setup. It does need a little assembly to get it all put together. No worries, no tools required. The bottom connector pieces do need a little extra push, but again it wasn’t to challenging. The whole assembly time took about five minutes. Overall sturdiness is great. It is made up of lighter aluminum material but feels like stronger metal when fully attached together. The clear silicone rod holders were all facing inward upon opening the box. I’m assuming this is just for ease of boxing and shipping. I moved them all out facing to be able to catch and release a rod as they’re designed. The cross bar that holds the rods is also adjustable up/down as needed for any size of rods.
It kind of goes without saying, but I will anyways. Each side will hold nine rods with or without reels. The rods did go in and out of the holder quite nicely. I do feel that rod holder will hold the rods securely without a doubt of them falling out when I walk away.
I would confidently recommend this setup for anyone looking to have a good place to clean up their fish rod storage spot. Before, my reels would clutter up and interlock with each other. This alone would cause for some frustration at the beginning of any fishing trip. Now, it’s just a look of excellence. I could not be more happy or excited with this product.
