Awesome little rod and comes with a convenient little travel bag with a small tackle box for the kids! Even comes with a little tip book for the kiddos!
I had an issue with my reel already in a birdnest when it came in, i receiced a speedy replacement so no biggy!
I also just love the way the rod feels in my hands so i know the kiddos will too! Very sleek look too.

I’m surprised at the quality of the fishing lure and components in this kit. I really like the kid’s guide to fishing. I learned some new things. I will have to borrow some of this kit from my daughter. It comes with a bite alarm bells and a nice stick bobber. The hard plastic has some advanced beads in the belly and tail. Ok, I admit it — I’ll be buying a yellow one for myself. This makes a nice gift for all ages. Compact for travel. I have a pond behind my office and won’t need to store long gear that I can trip over. Instead, this compact kits fits on the door hanger.

Nice for a kids first time fishing.. The rod is very sturdy and made of good quality. The reel is light and seems to function good. Has all the tackle to get one started. I would recommend this.

I got into fishing thanks to my toddler who wanted to go fishing. Being a beginner I was looking for something hassle free, durable, and had a few extras to go along. You'll probably need to buy a few smaller hooks and weights to help cast further, but overall we love the fishing rod - The quality of the rod is great, the reel doesnt tangle, and it fits in our backpack :) I'm planning to buy a couple for my niece and nephew to get them into fishing as well.
