have been quite happy with this rod & reel. I wasn't sure what to expect with a telescopic rod like this, and at this price, but it has worked well for me. You have to align the guides when you extend it, but once you do, they stay in place and it's nice and sturdy. I also feel like it casts really well for me. I mostly use it as a drop shot rod and I've caught quite a few fish with it.
I love the combo which my wife sent me as birthday gift and it's amazing. I love the rod action. The reel feels prefect when casting and retrieving. Once adjusted to your liking the reel takes no effort to cast. In my opinion this is the best combo out there. I am impressed with the quality of the product for the price
This rod is very convenient. It collapses to under 2 feet long, making storage super easy. Extended it's about 6 feet tall and gets even longer when you extend the handle. It also comes with a cloth sleeve to store your rod in. The reel is very nice. The design is pleasing to the eyes and is very smooth. It's clearly marked to tell you how much line it can hold depending on the diameter of your line. Definitely something I can keep in my Jeep for the last minute fishing trips.
I love being able to compact the fishing rod down to a more portable size. Once fully extended, the rod doesn't twist and feels very sturdy. The reel is pretty easy to use as well.
I use this rod is for casting in streams and rivers. it is light weight and flexible, easy to cast. this is a great rod with a lot of action!
